Import QuickBooks Items

Import QuickBooks items into the SCPS Product Library. Initiated from the Utility screen in the Product Library, this process updates existing records in SCPS and adds items not existent in SCPS. Some data grooming may be required, depending on how the inventory items were created in QuickBooks.

Non-Matching QuickBooks Item Names

Sometimes SCPS products and QuickBooks items have different names even though they're the same in every other way. The figure below illustrates a SCPS product in which the value "Linn 5101" has been entered in the "QB SKU" field. In this example, any SCPS QuickBooks Link transactions will match the SCPS product "Linn - 5101 Personal Handset" to the QuickBooks item "Linn 5101".
