SCPS QuickBooks Link

SCPS 6.6

Overview

Horizon Software's SmartPartner (SCPS) software features a live connection to Quickbooks using XML technology, versus the old, one-way QuickBooks .IIF file import/export method. This live connection allows SCPS to automatically push and pull data to and from SCPS, saving users and bookkeepers hours of data entry.

Requirements

The SCPS QuickBooks link requires an external plug-in called FileBooks Link. Click here for purchase information. For information on FileBooks Link, including supported QuickBooks versions, visit the FileBooks Link FAQ page.

Features

Contacts

Import QuickBooks customer information into the SCPS Contact library.

Products

Import QuickBooks inventory items into the SCPS Product library.

Estimates

SCPS users can post the entire SCPS Project, including all labor, parts and wire, into Quickbooks as a QB Estimate. The QB Estimate can then be relieved in QB as percentage or itemized invoices.

Sales Invoices

QuickBooks Link users see a QB Link Sales Invoice screen in SCPS, from which they can query QB Customers and Terms, and create QB Invoices.

Purchase Orders

QuickBooks Link users see a QB Link Purchase Order screen in SCPS. Here they can query QB Vendors, and create and receive against QB Purchase Orders.
